The phrase “you are your own worst critic” came to mind when I was planning for my baby girl, Averey’s 1st birthday party. Wanting everything to be perfect for her big milestone, I was driving myself and my husband crazy for months! The preparation started in April after tax season was over and it lasted for months due to wedding season and other personal obligations. We were playing with the idea of either doing a Monster theme, as she can be a monster at times or a Dr. Seuss theme because this little girl loves her books, especially Dr. Seuss’s ABC book from her beloved uncle Jerry.
In May, My husband and I finally decided on Dr. Seuss since Monster theme will be played out due to Monsters Inc 2 came out in the theater in June. After months of preparation, designing and re-designing the layout of the tented picnic area, her invitations, and gathering the goodie bags, I am proud to bring you this Dr. Seuss theme birthday party for my one and only ❤
